Tell us a little bit about yourself 自我介紹
My name is Andy Zhou, a man created by God, a confessing sinner, husband of a godly woman (Daisy Zhang – Coworker at CCCTO，Software Engineer), father of two young Christians who were baptized in CCCTO (Ken – UCSD master student and David – Moorpark College/Georgia Tech student)
周恩明, 一個上帝所造的男人，一個坦白的罪人，一個敬虔的女人的丈夫，兩個在千橡城基督教會受洗的年輕基督徒的父親。冬梅(妻子) – 教會同工，軟件工程師; Ken – 加大聖地亞哥分校碩士學生; David – Moorpark College/Georgia Tech 學生。

What do you do as occupation and what are your hobbies? 你的職業是什麼，你的愛好是什麼？
Software Engineer

Why did you choose to accept the nomination to be a deacon? 你為什麼選擇接受執事的提名？
I was called and I don’t want to find an excuse. 我被呼召服事，沒有想過找藉口推託。

How did God speak to you through the process? 在這個過程中，上帝是如何對你說話的？
I didn’t receive the direct revelation from God. Rather as I perceive the aging and passing of saints during the pandemic, I felt the need to step up and do more. I believe it’s the work of the Holy Spirit. 我不認為上帝有直接對我說話。只是看到疫情期間很多年長的聖徒老去，感到我應當盡我所能做更多。相信這是聖靈的感動。

What is one thing you look forward the most as you serve as a deacon? 作為執事，你最期待的一件事是什麼？
Always looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of my faith, serve CCCTO with patience and endurance.一如既往仰望為我們信心創始成終的耶穌基督，通過耐心與忍耐在教會服事。

Do you anticipate any challenges ahead and how can we (the Church) pray for you? 你預計未來會遇到任何挑戰嗎？我們（教會）如何為你祈禱？
Yes, God protects my family from the temptations of the evil one. And please pray for the cleansing of my fleshly desires and be a servant that pleases our Lord Jesus Christ. 是的，求上帝保守我的家庭成員不被撒旦的奴役攪擾。同時求主的靈清潔我身上還有的屬肉體的情慾，以便成為一個讓主喜悅的僕人。

Bobby Thompson – Deacon 

Tell us a little bit about yourself 自我介紹
My name is Bobby [Robert] Thompson, I was born and raised in Ventura County, and have lived here all my life.  I grew up in a secular household & was first brought to Church by a friend in my mid teens (15-16).  The same friend brought me to CCCTO in 2000, and I have attended here ever since.  I met my future wife (Fong Fong) at CCCTO, and we were married in 2005.  I currently serve as a leader in Act4Christ, and a member of the AV team. 我的名字是 Bobby [Robert] Thompson，我在Ventura縣出生和長大，我一生都住在這裡。 我在一個世俗的家庭長大，在我十幾歲的時候（15-16 歲）第一次被朋友帶到教堂。 同一個朋友在 2000 年把我帶到了 CCCTO，從那以後我就一直在這裡參加。 我在 CCCTO 認識了我未來的妻子 (Fong Fong)，我們於 2005 年結婚。我目前是 Act4Christ 的領導者，也是 AV 團隊的成員。

What do you do as an occupation and what are your hobbies? 你的職業是什麼，你的愛好是什麼？
I work as a web application developer for a medical supplies company.  The most well known website I’ve worked on would be realtor.com. I have multiple hobbies, ranging from collecting [toys mostly], gaming & modifying electronics. 我是一家醫療用品公司的 Web 應用程序開發人員。 我工作過的最著名的網站是realtor.com。 我有多種愛好，從收集[主要是玩具]、遊戲和修改電子產品。

Why did you choose to accept the nomination to be a deacon? 你為什麼選擇接受執事的提名？
Honestly it was a process.  When I first got the call I was surprised, but I was immediately ready to say “no”.  At that point I was told not to decide right away, but to spend time considering and praying about it.  When the time came to finally give that answer, despite my own personal desires, I came to believe this was something God wanted me to do. 老實說，這是一個過程。 當我第一次接到電話時，我很驚訝，但我立即準備說“不”。 那時我被告知不要立即做出決定，而是要花時間考慮和祈禱。 當最終給出答案的時候到了，儘管我有個人的願望，但我開始相信這是神要我做的事情。

How did God speak to you through the process? 在這個過程中，上帝是如何對你說話的？
A few years ago God had called me to spend more of my time supporting my wife. That eventually led me to ask to join Act4Crhist as a helper to assist my wife (who is a leader in A4C).  Within a few months, changes in A4C leadership resulted in me becoming a leader as well.  I recognize today that this wasn’t by chance.  God, knowing me better than I know myself, opened the one door he knew I would say yes to.  It helped me understand that God’s plan for us may not be what we think it is, and we may be called to do things which we believe we aren’t capable of.  幾年前，上帝呼召我花更多的時間來支持我的妻子。 這最終導致我要求加入 Act4Chist 作為幫手來協助我的妻子（她是 A4C 的領導者）。 幾個月內，A4C 領導層的變化使我也成為了領導者。 我今天認識到這不是偶然的。神，比我自己更了解我，打開了一扇他知道我會答應的門。 神幫助我理解了他對我們的計劃可能不是我們想像的那樣，我們可能被要求去做我們認為自己做不到的事情。

In my prayers and meditation about the possibility of being deacon, I kept being reminded of this.  In time, my prayers changed from a leading “you don’t want me to be a deacon, right?” to something along the lines of “is this something you want me to do?”  Once I started asking the right question, the answer was clear. 在我關於成為執事的可能性的祈禱和沈思中，我一直被提醒著這一點。 隨著時間的流逝，我的祈禱從“你不希望我成為執事，對嗎？” 類似於“這是你想讓我做的事情嗎？” 一旦我開始問正確的問題，答案就很清楚了。

What is one thing you look forward to most as you serve as a deacon? 作為執事，你最期待的一件事是什麼？
My relationship with Christ has grown substantially over the past 4 years (more so than the previous 20). It started as a simple ‘yes’ in trying to help my wife out at Church, but became so much more.  I do feel God is putting me outside of my comfort zone once again, but I’m excited to see how these challenges will help me to grow. 在過去的 4 年裡，我與基督的關係有了很大的發展（比之前的 20 年還要多）。 開始只是一個簡單的“是”，試圖在教堂幫助我的妻子，但變得如此之多。 我確實覺得神再次將我置於舒適區之外，但我很高興看到這些挑戰將如何幫助我成長。

This is a completely new experience for me, and going into it I do have worries (and a few doubts).  Please pray that I can keep my primary focus on God and the tasks that need to be done. 這對我來說是一種全新的體驗，我確實有擔憂（還有一些疑問)。 請祈禱我可以注意集中在上帝和需要完成的任務上。

Steve Quon – Deacon 

Tell us a little bit about yourself 自我介紹
I started attending CCCTO in 2012 and previously served as a Deacon from 2015-2019.  I currently live in Camarillo. 我於 2012 年開始參加 CCCTO，之前曾在 2015-2019 年擔任執事。 我目前住在Camarillo。

What do you do as an occupation and what are your hobbies? 你的職業是什麼，你的愛好是什麼？
I’m a Financial Analyst with SoCalGas.  My hobbies revolve around eating (checking out new restaurants) and staying active (hiking, running, golf, tennis). 我是 SoCalGas 的財務分析師。 我的愛好圍繞著吃（檢查新餐館）和保持活躍（遠足、跑步、高爾夫、網球）。

Why did you choose to accept the nomination to be a deacon? 你為什麼選擇接受執事的提名？
The current situation with EM (pastoral transition) was similar to my previous time as a Deacon; hopefully my past experience can help CCCTO with this ongoing transition. EM（牧師過渡）的當前情況與我之前擔任執事的情況相似。 希望我過去的經驗可以幫助 CCCTO 進行這種持續的過渡。

How did God speak to you through the process? 在這個過程中，上帝是如何對你說話的？
God was showing me how He was equipping me over the past couple years to serve in this capacity again. 在過去的幾年裡，神向我展示了他是如何裝備我再次以這種身份服務的。

What is one thing you look forward to the most as you serve as a deacon? 作為執事，你最期待的一件事是什麼？
I look forward to working with the current Deacons, Elders and Pastors across CCCTO. 我期待與 CCCTO 的現任執事、長老和牧師一起工作。

Balancing the commitments and responsibilities as a Deacon with work and family commitments. 平衡作為執事的承諾和責任與工作和家庭承諾。

I grew up in Wuhan. Then I went to Australia for study in 1994, and came to the United States in 1998. I have been married to my wife, Hong for 30 years and we have two children.  My daughter Weiru is a lawyer living in DC, son Aaron is an engineering student at Cal Poly SLO. 我在武漢長大。 1994年赴澳大利亞留學，1998年赴美，與妻子洪先生結婚30年，育有兩個孩子。 我的女兒 Weiru 是住在華盛頓特區的律師，兒子 Aaron 是加州理工大學 SLO 的工程專業學生。
